extraordinary process

From the instant you began to take shape in your mother’s womb, an extraordinary process has been happening in you. It is the amazing process of physical life. But physical life has its limits, and eventually it ends. No exceptions. No exemptions. That is why it is crucial for you to find the hope.

The hope begins with a birth of another kind—a spiritual birth that marks the beginning of a new kind of life. It, too, is an amazing process. But best of all, it has no end. It is the promise of eternal life—a life that is fulfilling and meaningful now and will continue on even after physical death occurs.

To find the hope is to find the source of life itself. It is like discovering the one spring in all the world that gives perfectly pure, perfectly satisfying water...the kind of water that can heal the deepest wounds and quench the deepest thirst.

in the midst of the storm

It’s no secret: the world is in trouble, and it’s not getting better. Diseases ravage. Crises erupt. Wars rage. Famines devour. Natural disasters kill, maim and destroy. Personal tragedies strike without warning. In circumstances beyond their control, untold millions of people are swept up in the current of events, carried along like debris in the rapids.

we're broken

Besides the worldwide troubles, there’s another kind of devastation we face—the personal one. We look inside ourselves and see so much that we wish wasn’t there. The scars of past hurts and injustices. Paralyzing fears. Anger that won’t go away. Unrealized dreams and expectations. Depressing loneliness. An unfulfilled desire for peace and contentment. And an embarrassing assortment of sins, failures, pride and broken promises.

there is good news

Try as we might, we can’t fix the world. And we can’t fix ourselves either. We are unable to rescue ourselves from the fear, to neutralize the anger or to fill the emptiness inside. We can’t give ourselves lasting peace. We can’t remove the guilt that weighs on our conscience. We can’t forgive our own sins. All of this is beyond our capacity. But the good news is that there is a solution.
There is an answer.

everything begins to change

The hope we long for is found in a personal relationship with God who loves and cares deeply for each of us. It can be found even in the midst of all the chaos and confusion. And once this hope is found, everything begins to change. Life is different, indescribably new. Hundreds of millions of people throughout history and from every part of the world have found this hope and testify to its reality. In the process they have found peace. Not just a good feeling, but a profound peace that is beyond circumstances—peace in the innermost being.

To find the hope is to make three remarkable discoveries: the way that leads to God; the truth that never changes; and the life that never ends. In reality, it is one discovery, not three. All are found in a person—the God/Man, Jesus Christ. He is the full expression of supernatural, enduring love.

↓they spoke the truth

Jesus Christ said of himself, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus is the way that leads to God the Father. He is the truth that never changes. He is the life that never ends.

Hundreds of years before Jesus was born in a Bethlehem stable, ancient prophets wrote of his coming. They correctly predicted scores of things about him—things that came true without a single exception. Every prophecy converged in him. He was the perfect fulfillment of God’s promise. He was—and is—the hope given to the people of the world.

hope appears

For 30 years Jesus lived an obscure life in a place called Nazareth. Then, he left his village and for three years traveled throughout Galilee, Samaria, Judea and the surrounding region, communicating remarkable truths about God, performing supernatural acts, healing the sick with but a word or a touch. He never spoke an untrue word, never acted in malice, never rejected anyone who came to him. He was the long-promised Saviour. He was God in human flesh.

the perfect sacrifice

Rejected by those he came to rescue, Jesus was betrayed, falsely accused, unjustly arrested and tried as a common criminal. The ones to whom he could give life condemned him to death. They beat him mercilessly and mocked his suffering. Then they nailed his hands and feet to a roughly hewn cross. With hateful intensity, they dropped that cross in the ground, hoisted it upward and celebrated their victory. Jesus died that day. He gave his life to be the sacrifice for the sins of everyone who would believe in him.

the promise fulfilled

Jesus’ body was laid in a rich man’s tomb — another detail predicted centuries beforehand. Three days later, his own prophetic words became reality when he came back to life and walked out of that cold crypt, exactly as he told his followers he would. “Destroy this temple,” he had said, referring to his physical body, “and in three days I will raise it up.” That is what Jesus told his followers, and that is what he did.

never alone

For 40 days, the resurrected Jesus visited with his followers, encouraging them and praying with them. As he told them about the turmoil and suffering yet to come, he gave them an unbreakable promise: “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” And having made this extraordinary commitment, he returned to heaven. Soon afterwards he sent his Holy Spirit to give help and strength to every Christ-follower.

our true hope
耶稣不是一个古代已故的人物。祂现在活着！祂在那里等候每一个归向祂的人，祂向每一个相信祂的人 赠送了永生的礼物。祂说：“神爱世人，甚至将祂的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信祂的，不至灭亡，反得永 生。”
Jesus is not a dead figure from ancient history. He is alive and he is coming again one day, just as he promised! He is there for anyone who turns to him, and he offers the gift of eternal life to everyone who believes in him. He said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
我们人不能自救，但祂能。我们人不能给自己希望，但祂能。因为祂就是希望，永生的希望，从今日起就有的，满有意义和丰盛 生命的希望。只藉着祂-和平之君-我们就能经历真正和永久的平安。
We cannot save ourselves, but he can. We cannot give ourselves hope, but he can, for he is the hope. The hope of eternal life. The hope of meaningful, abundant life this very day. And the assurance that in him alone—the Prince of Peace—we can experience true and enduring peace.

loving relationship
当你归向耶稣基督，相信祂，承认你的罪，求祂宽恕并相信祂赐给你与神新的关系的时候，你就找到了希望。祂保证会饶恕你， 并赐给你一颗新的心-一颗爱祂和信任祂的心。祂永不撇下你， 也不离弃，从今日到永远。只有在耶稣里才有生命和希望。如果你还没有接受祂，就请你此时此刻接受祂并相信祂。
The hope is found when you turn to Jesus Christ and put your faith in him, confessing to him that you have sinned, asking for his forgiveness and trusting only him to give you a personal relationship with God. He promises to forgive you and give you a new heart—a heart to love and trust him. He promises to never leave you or abandon you. Only in Jesus is there life and hope, for now and forever. If you haven’t done so already, you can put your trust in him this very moment.

Jesus hears our prayers
无论你此刻心里想什么，请你知道，主耶稣心里很在乎你。祂总是随时恭听及回应你真诚的祷告。请把你心里的话告诉祂，求祂让你感到祂的真实，赦免你的罪过，医治和修复你破碎的人生，赐给你新的开始。祈求祂赐给你永生的生命，使你稳行人生路。
Whatever you may think right now, please know that in Jesus’ heart you will always matter greatly. He is always ready to listen and respond to your sincere prayers. Simply speak to him from your heart. Ask him to make himself real to you. Ask him for forgiveness and for the strength to turn from your sins. Ask him to heal and restore the broken pieces of your life and make all things new. Ask him for the gift of eternal life. And ask him to set your life on a sure path.
主耶稣永远随时回应你内心深处的呼求。你可以随时随地向祂倾诉心声。祂总是听着你的祷告，祂能听到你的祷告，祂明白你的心意。祂会宽恕你的罪，给你真正的希望，从里到外重新建造你的生命。
Jesus Christ will always respond to the cry of your heart. You can turn to him in prayer anytime, anywhere with the questions that fill your mind. He hears. He listens. He understands. And he will forgive your sins, give you real hope, and rebuild your life from the inside out.

Lord Jesus, I open my heart to you as much as I can today to receive the forgiveness and life that you have provided. I believe you are the Son of God and died on a cross for my salvation. Make yourself real to me and help me to accept your unconditional love. In your love and goodness, forgive my sins and set me free from the power that sin has in my life. Come live in my heart by your Holy Spirit and guide me into the future. Rebuild my life from the inside out and give me your gift of eternal life and lasting hope. Amen.
